Let’s Give A New Twist To Parent’s Day 让我们孝敬父母亲,双亲双爱!


Participants will get to understand more about filial piety and the 10 Values and Morals that are showcased in Zone 2 of the exhibition. They will learn more about the local culture of celebrating Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, and also listen to ‘别担心好吗 (Don’t Worry Ok)’ by local pop group LimTayPeng.

This song was specially written for Mother’s / Fathers’ Day, to celebrate the love of our parents. By the end of this programme, participants will be equipped with Mandarin lyrics writing skills, and be able to create their very own original lyrics for the ‘别担心好吗 (Don’t Worry Ok)’ song, and also do a mini presentation of their new song in front of their peers!

• Understanding about filial piety with guided tour at Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre
• Learning the basic of Pop Songwriting Through Workshop
• Mini Presentation of their song
