Greetings and welcome to our Intune Music’s Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page! We’re thrilled to have you here, and we’re excited to answer any questions you may have about our courses!
Enrolment
Q: How do I schedule a lesson?
A:We’re thrilled that you’re interested in scheduling a lesson with us. Since our lessons are appointment-based, we’re more than happy to work with your schedule.
Just give us a few of your preferred days and timeslots, and we’ll get right on it, coordinating with our instructors’ schedules. We want to make sure your lesson is scheduled at a time that’s convenient for you, so don’t hesitate to let us know what works best.
Our operating hours are as follows: weekdays from 1pm to 10pm, and weekends from 10am to 7pm. However, the lessons are by appointment only, so let us know your availability, and we will provide you with the available timeslots!
Q: I’m interested in group lesson, is there a group class that I can join?
Yes! We do have group lessons for our courses, but we do need at least 3 students to start a group class. Once you give us your availability for group lessons, we’ll work our magic and get the other students who are eagerly waiting to join you. And don’t worry, we won’t put you in a group with your great-grandma or your little brother – we’ll group you with people who are on the same wavelength as you.
Now, we could try to squeeze you into a pre-existing group or pair you up with a different age group, but that’s like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. It’s just not the right fit, and we believe in providing you with the perfect fit for high-quality music lessons.
And speaking of perfect fits, we’ve got a scheduling system that’s more organized than Marie Kondo’s sock drawer! Before we start our group lessons, we’ll be setting dates four by four, and everyone will agree in advance. That way, there’ll be no confusion or last-minute shenanigans – we’ll all be on the same page! We take our lesson scheduling seriously, because we know your time is precious.
We get it, life happens. Maybe you have a wedding to attend or because of work issue – we know they can throw a wrench in your schedule. We just ask that you give us a heads up if you need to reschedule a group lesson. You’ll need the approval of your groupmates, and we’ll need at two days’ notice, so we can make sure everyone’s on the same page. After all, we want to be fair to everyone who’s already reserved their time slot for the class. If any student is not agreeable and/or late notice, your “ticket” will be unfortunately be forfeited like a movie that you paid for but didn’t show up to.
We know it’s tough juggling everything at once, but we’re here to help. Let us know ahead of time, and we’ll work with you and your groupmates to find a new time that works for everyone. We’re all in this together, like a big musical family. So, if you need to reschedule, don’t be afraid to speak up – we’re here to support you!
Payment
Q: Is your lesson based on monthly payment?
We’re glad you’re interested in our lesson fees structure. We know it can be a real hassle keeping track of different fees every month, so we’ve come up with a better way to do things.
Our lessons are structured into packages of four, so you can keep track of how many lessons you’ve attended and plan your schedule accordingly. No need to worry about different fees each month – just focus on your learning journey and we’ll take care of the rest.
Q: Why do I have to put a deposit?
A: We’re glad you asked about our deposit policy! We want to ensure that your lesson timeslots are secure and protected from any other eager learners out there. We understand that life can get hectic, so the deposit also provides you with flexibility in terms of payment scheduling.
If you do happen to change your mind and decide to withdraw from the course, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered. Your deposit will be refunded, but we do require one month’s advance notice. In the final month, just make sure to complete four lessons so we can process your refund back to you.
Q: Can I choose not to make a deposit?
A: We know, we know – making a deposit for your music lessons can feel like you’re committing to a lifetime of practicing scales and singing “do-re-mi.” But trust us, it’s worth it! By making a deposit, you’ll be securing your preferred timeslot for regular weekly lessons, and saving yourself the headache of scheduling each lesson one-by-one.
Without a deposit, it’s like playing musical chairs – you never know if your preferred timeslot will still be available when the music stops. We don’t want you to end up sitting on the floor while everyone else enjoys their lesson!
So, let us take care of the planning, while you focus on perfecting your musical skills. We promise, it’ll be a lot more fun than playing actual musical chairs. And who knows, you might even end up being the next big music superstar!
Rescheduling
Q:What is your policy for rescheduling lessons if a student is unable to attend their scheduled session?
A:If you find yourself in a bit of a scheduling pickle and need to reschedule your lesson, fear not! We’ve got a rescheduling policy in place to make things as smooth as butter.
Just give us a heads up at least 2 days in advance during our operating hours and we’ll take care of the rest. Speaking of which, our operating hours are as follows: weekdays from 1pm to 10pm, and weekends from 10am to 7pm.
For example, if your scheduled lesson falls on a Tuesday, any rescheduling requests must be made by Sunday at 7pm. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!
Q: What happens if I need to cancel my lesson one day before or on the day itself?
We understand that sometimes the winds of fate can blow you off course and you might have to abandon ship on your lesson at the last minute. We don’t blame you – life is like a never-ending sea voyage, full of surprises and unexpected storms.
Now, normally we require a medical receipt for late cancellations. But we also know that sometimes you just can’t control the tides. So, if you find yourself in a tight spot, just send up a signal flare and we’ll consult with our management to figure out the best course of action.
So if you do need to cancel late, we’ll do our best to find a solution that works for everyone. But keep in mind that if we have to walk the plank and incur the cost of the reserved time, our ship might take a hit. But hey, we’re all in this together, right? So if you do need to cancel last minute, just give us a holler and we’ll try to navigate these choppy waters together. Who knows, maybe we’ll discover some treasure along the way!
Q: If I can’t attend lesson for a few weeks, can I just postpone the lesson?
A: We totally get it – sometimes you need to take a break from your music lessons to deal with life’s ups and downs. It’s like when you have to hit the pause button on your favorite song to answer the phone (who even calls anymore?).
But fear not, we’ve got your back! Our lesson structure is designed to ensure regular progression and effectiveness, so we recommend weekly lessons. However, we know that life can be like a crazy guitar solo – unpredictable and full of surprises.
That’s why we’ve set a time frame of six weeks for you to complete every four lessons. Think of it like a musical grace note – a little pause that adds character and flavor to your learning journey.
And if you need to take a longer break, no worries! Just let us know and we’ll be happy to guide you back on track when you’re ready. After all, life is like a never-ending jam session – sometimes you need to improvise, but as long as you keep the rhythm, you’ll always find your way back to the music.
