Falsetto and Head Voice – Are They The Same?
Many singers nowadays, for example Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Ed Sheeran, Park Kiyoung, Sohyang and more, are using falsetto singing techniques in many of their songs. Each time they sing with this falsetto sound, they capture the attention of their audience, and sometimes that sound is even the highlight of their song!
However, when amateur singers try to imitate or repeat this singing technique without proper training, more often than not, their voice will either ‘break’ or go out of tune, ending up sounding rather strange and even ear-piercing as well.
On 27 Feb Thursday 730pm, Intune Music Pop Vocal Instructor, 張祚恩 Joanne Teo Zuo En will be conducting a singing workshop that will focus specifically on the Falsetto Singing Technique, teaching you what vocal mechanics lie behind this technique, and how to utilize falsetto singing properly to impress your listeners and audience.
張祚恩 Joanne Teo Zuo En has more than 9 years of teaching experience, with a Diploma in Vocal Performance (DipLCM) from the London College of Music Examination Board, as well as a Certificate of Figure Proficiency (CFP) from Estill Voice International. In addition, she has taught both male and female students of varying age ranges, from a young age of 7 years old, up to even ages of 30-50 years old too.
